Notes To My Younger Self

If you find yourself wanting to lie to someone, ask these two questions first. Are you lying because you’re doing something that you know that person won’t like? Or are you considering fibbing because you think they will judge what you are about to say or do? If it’s the first, then take some time to consider if your words or actions have integrity—meaning you aren’t harming or deceiving anyone in anyway. If it’s the latter, and you are afraid of being judged, then ask yourself why you’re in a relationship with a person or in a situation where you are afraid to be yourself. Are you truly a match? Is there another place or other people where you can speak your truth without the fear of being judged?

No matter how much you may desire them to, sometimes things just don’t fit.

Don’t be afraid to let go of relationships that have run their course.

Although it may not seem so at times, being honest will guide you to your destined path.
