“As I left the house this morning on the way to the polls, my wife generously reminded me of the hot voting issues–unemployment, healthcare and the growing national debt. “Paying off the deficit?” I paused in the doorway and smiled at her. “That job is made for a woman.” Knowing me as well as she does, my wife raises a suspicious eyebrow.  “Seriously dear, if you and your friends just sold half your shoes we’d be in the clear.”
