When you present in order to be “picked” (be included, chosen, validated, honored, loved, feel important, cherished, seen, acknowledged, recognized, elevated) by another (others), understand it may feel good in that moment. But know, by waiting for someone else to pick you (validate you in some way), you have stepped out of your power and are relinquishing that sure-footedness to whom ever you desire to pick you.
