Notes To My Younger Self

Having the ability to work is a gift. Be grateful for the physical and mental capability to get up everyday, go to your place of employment, and be paid for your contributions.  (No matter how dark, daunting, or even freezing at times.) Approach your work as an honor. If you don’t like what you’re currently doing, search for something else. But in the meantime, show up everyday and do your best. Jobs equal opportunities. Remember, not everyone is as fortunate to have the capacity to work.

E.L. Chappel author of Spirit Dance/Storm Makers/Coming very soon: The Surge

Struggling is part of the journey. It leads to confidence, gratitude, peace, and balance.

Approach your job with the same vigor and excitement as your downtime.

Work every day as if it’s your last.

Bravo! It’s so easy to take things for granted until they are no longer there. Gratitude isn’t just a word to me. It’s a place?
