Notes To My Younger Self

Balance is everything. While training to be a pilot, you’ll learn that in the cockpit it is imperative to repeat the same routines over and over again. Being that it works so well, you might be tempted to apply this time-tested safety practice to your day to day life. Lists are great, incredibly helpful actually. Being systematic and organized is also a surefire way to break down and manage volumes of tasks. But remember, outside airplanes, every decision isn’t life dependent and every task is not necessarily time critical. Be sure to shift gears when leaving the airport. Take time to evaluate when to step up, and when to relax.
