Notes To My Younger Self

Resist the urge to complain. When you feel the desire—a you will—ask yourself this question: What can I learn by going through this discomfort, pain, or difficulty? If you take this approach, you will be surprised how fast your anger, resentment, confusion and urge to wallow will shift into productive thoughts. Turn your challenges into adventures. Like in all epic stories, heroes have struggles, dark moments that propel them into times of great abundance. Don’t get stuck in the muck by complaining. Focus on the peace and joy that awaits on the backside of your challenges.

Difficulties are opportunities. Don’t avoid them.
