Notes To My Younger Self

Families exist to teach what we need to learn, to challenge us, and help us become the people we are meant to be. Resist the urge to compare, criticize, or judge the other members of your tribe for not being the way you are, not thinking the way you think. Each member is designed for a specific purpose, a unique role, a different contribution to your group. Instead of resenting or avoiding, use your energy to figure out how you can expand by knowing this individual.

You’ll grow more in differences than in similarities.

There is something for you within every family member. Be sure to look for it.
