Experiences get shaped by what you think of them; try to be aware of thoughts that are negative. When you catch yourself going in a negative direction, stop, and replace any negative words in your head with growing words. For example: Replace “I can’t do that” or “this is so hard” with “I’m not sure, but I’m willing to give it a shot” or “Can you help me with…(whatever is causing the negative thought.)
