Live by the rule that feelings aren’t caused by others. When you feel frustrated, angry, resentful, bitter, jealous, flustered, happy, excited, content, at peace, look inside and ask what these feelings are telling you. Resist the urge to look around and make someone else responsible for your emotions. Instead, stay focused on you, dig deep and when you figure out what’s behind your feelings, own them and then share what you’ve discovered with a kind, attentive ear.
