Notes To My Younger Self:

Understand that not trusting is not a negative. (Technically, two negatives equal a positive according to Indian mathematician Brahmagupta.) As a matter of fact, I believe that not trusting is the best way to build trust. If you start from a position of questioning you will open your mind to consider if who or what you’re about to trust has your best interests at heart. Or if who you are wanting to trust has an agenda you may not know about. Give yourself the time and space to do your homework around trust. Don’t allow yourself to feel pressured, guilted or pushed. Since who and what you trust and don’t trust is of the upmost importance.

When you discover you can trust, you will trust, and not a moment before. You always have the right to be satisfied before you make a choice.
