Notes To My Younger Self:

Being intimate can be scary. You will be tempted to worry what others think and live your life cautiously, afraid of letting anyone know what is really going on in your mind and your heart. As a result of this fear you might even be tempted to keep family and friends at arm’s length. But understand although risky, intimate relationships can help you grow. And if you’re willing to take a chance with trusted people, you may find that you can rely on others to encourage you and give kind, honest feedback. When you’re willing to share your inner self with others, without fear of being shamed, attacked, ignored or being told your feelings are wrong, stupid, ridiculous, or over the top then you have a chance to build trusting relationships where you can be wholeheartedly your unique, beautiful, most amazing self.

This world needs you. Your love, your presence, your smile, your laugh, your input, your gifts, your shortcomings, the essence of who you truly are deep down in your core. You were created for a reason and this world would not be the same without you. Don’t allow fear stop you from who were designed to be.
