Notes To My Younger Self:

Notes to My Younger Self:
When you choose to move away from what doesn’t resonate, you model authenticity. By modeling this kind of integrity, we not only respect ourselves, we give others the opportunity to be their authentic selves too. They have agency, of course, so it’s their choice, and they may choose to continue to press on in their current patterns. Either way, understand you’re giving them a gift. An opportunity. This kind of authenticity doesn’t go into expectations or judgement of others if they choose not to see or accept the gift; the gift will be offered, regardless. It will take courage to move in this way and your mind may be tempted to drift into guilt, shame, fear, angst or judgement and say things like “unsupportive” and “unloving.” If these untruths come up, remind yourself that this kind of authenticity sends out unconditional love ripples. In essence, by moving away from what doesn’t resonate with you, you are extending blessings to everyone around you, everyone you cross paths with, including you. Herein lies the moving away with “love” piece.

Imagine a time and space where everyone shows up as their authentic selves, present, with the sole intention of enjoying the experience with genuine joy in their heart. No striving. No presenting. No pleasing. No checking the box. No appearances. No penance. Hard stop.
